Shadow of The Raven, first book in the Sons of Kings Trilogy, was an impulse buy. I love reading about this period, love how authors give their own spin to their story. I also loved this book and the story this author told. Briefly, the book follows the life of Eadwulf, young son of the slain Mercian king, as he is taken as a slave by the Danes/5(70).
