Review summary. My best friends of 10 years wanted to take a little "mom-cation" and thought a cruise would be our best option for us. All three of us (27 years old) have cruised before, two of us on Royal Caribbean (I had gone on the Liberty, my friend on the Oasis), and this cruise lined up .
I was concerned about being at the front due to the ship’s motion and below the theater due to sound. Neither was a problem, even though we had a couple of nights of rough seas.5/5. We were sailing up the Florida coast on the way home, and the ship began to roll side to side. It was enough to make people lose balance, grab hold of rails sometimes. It went on for a long time. I asked 2 officers standing near me why the ship was rolling. One said that it was because of the motion of the sea. I told him to look at the sea.

To be on the safe side, I booked a cabin with a balcony on deck 9, in the middle of the ship. I had some concerns before booking about seasickness, but Ive been. I am planning to book Symphony of the Seas, during its European run but we are having a bit of a hard time deciding on which cabin package to book.
The concern is motion sickness. I often get sick on cars and planes but the Sea Bands have helped there (discovered those before the Carnival cruise and love them!).
Our strategy is to always book a midship cabin; typically, the lower you are situated the better. She's always found relief by going back to the cabin except for the time she got sick as we had an after corner suite on another line and hit ' seas sailing to Alaska.

I've been on Oasis class ships 6 times, eastern and western Caribbean cruises, I agree with @twangster, it has nothing to do with the ship, it has to do with the seas and the wind, the only time I have ever felt an O class move was when the ship was being hit broadside by a pretty good wind, even then it was hardly noticeable.
